Dr. Craig Mabrito received his DDS degree in 1973 from the University of Texas
Health Science Center in Houston. After serving in the Air Force he taught
at both the University of Colorado and the University of Texas Schools of
Dentistry. He opened his practice in 1977.
- Dr. Mabrito has lectured internationally and authored papers on esthetic, restorative and reconstructive dentistry.
- He co-founded a publication that is read worldwide in the field of esthetic restorative dentistry.
- He holds a patent for a tooth shade analysis system.
- He was involved in the development of veneers.
- He authored the first article describing the process of combining an onlay and a veneer.
- He also was a pioneer in bleaching techniques with a paper illustrating bleaching without the use of a mask-like material over the gums and face.
